boutique - where our nature-centric creations are researched, designed, and formulated.
Our cozy boutique sits in historic Federal Hill, near the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Maryland.
As we've expanded and relocated over the past 20 years, we have come full circle with our concept
on aromatherapy. Although we no longer have massage facilities at this location, we are busy serving
many customers, acclaimed spas and massage therapists worldwide who use our aromatherapy products.
Along with our signature line, we offer a select collection of "cottage-industry" products we find
exceptional - hand selected to reflect our like philosophy of pure and natural.
One of our house specialties is custom made, natural perfumes. Many of our customers make an
event of this interactive experience, sharing the fun with family or friends. There is nothing
like creating and wearing your own signature scent, especially when it is crafted without synthetics!
The good news is you don't have to travel to Baltimore to build your own blend (or to savor steamed crabs!)
Boutique hours do change seasonally; please check in prior to visiting.
SoBotanical History:
Our famous aromatherapy bar began in 1989, several years after we
opened our first store. We found that people wanted products unique to
their individual needs and preferences, but crafted with the knowledge of
nature and science to ensure they were applying the right products to their
face, skin and hair. We also found that people wanted pure and natural - no gimmicks.
And today, over 50,000 blends later, we are still delighted to see people stroll
up to the bar and discuss exactly what they are looking for when it comes to personal care.
